Environmental Health Technicians (Diploma) 3Years

Entry Requirement:

1. The minimum entry requirement is five (5) passes in GCE/WASC/NECO/SSCE/NABTECH examination. the five passes must include four (4) credit passes in English Language, Biology/Health Science and any two of the following subjects:
   Mathematics, Geography, Physics, chemistry and Agricultural Science.
   Holders of Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), with two years post qualification experience can be admitted at 200 level of the Environmental Health Technician Diploma provided they fulfill the the o’level entry requirement above.

Health Promotion and Education (Diploma) 2 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in GCE/SSCE/NECO/WASC or Teachers Grade II which must includes English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any other three science subjects including Chemistry, Nutrition, Physics, General Science or Integrated Science.

2.1  Diploma in Community Health  (3 Years)

Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at WASC/NECO/GCE at not more than two sittings.

2.2  Certificate in Community Health (2 Years)

Entry Requirement:

1. Three(3) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and at least a pass in Chemistry and Physics in WASC/NECO/GCE/SSCE O’level at not more than two sittings.

2.4   Emergency Medical Technician (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE or GCE. Subjects includes: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at not more than two sittings.

3.0   SCHOOL OF PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY

3.1   Pharmacy Technician (Certificate) 3 years
Entry Requirement:

Five (5) O’Level credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE/GCE. which must includes: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at not more than two sittings

4.1   Medical Social Work (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry requirement:

Five (5) O’Level credit passes in WASC/SSCE/GCE or NECO. which must includes: English Language, Mathematics and any other three subject chosen from: Civil Education, Economic, Literature, Geography, CRK/Arts,Commerce, Government/History at not more than two sittings.

4.2 Diploma in Social Work (2 Years)

Entry requirement:

Candidates for admission into Diploma in Social Work must have Five(5) O’Level Credit passes in WASC/SSCE/GCE or NECO. which must includes: English Language, Mathematics and any other three subject chosen from: Civil Education, Biology, Economics, Literature, Geography, CRK/Arts, Commerce, Government/ History  at not more than two sittings.

5.1   Dental Surgery Technician (Diploma) 3 Years

Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE or NECO which must includes: Chemistry, Physics, Biolog or Health Science, English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

5.2   Anesthetic Technician (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE or GCE. Subjects includes: Mathematics Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English Language at not more than two sittings.

5.3   Dental Therapy (ND/HND) 4 Years
Entry Requirement:

The candidate must possess five(5) O/Level credit passes at not more than two sitting in WASC/NECO/GCE in Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Health Science.

6.1   Health Information Management (Professional Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE or NECO examinations at not more than two sittings. The credit passes must be in Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Health Science, Physics/Chemistry and any other credit from the following subjects: Commerce, Economics, Government.

6.2   Health Information Management/Health Records (Abridgement) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. National Certificate in Information Management (NCIM) in addition to possession of entry requirement for Health Information Management.

6.3   Hospital/Health Administration (Diploma) 2 Years
Entry requirement:

1. Four (4) O’Level credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE/GCE. in Mathematics, English Language, Economics/Government and Biology/Health Science at not more than two sittings.

7.1  Medical Laboratory Technician (Certificate) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE or NECO which must includes: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Physics and Mathematics at not more than two sittings and must be obtained within a space of 10 years prior to enrollment or NABTEB certificate.

7.2  Medical Laboratory Technician (Abridgment) 2 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Holders of Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate in addition to possessing the requirement for Medical Laboratory Technician above.

8.1   Public Health Nursing (HND) 2 Years
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO which must includes: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Physics and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
   In addition, candidates must possess any of the under listed:
   i. Nigerian Registered Nurse Certificate
   ii. Nigerian Registered Midwifery Certificate
   iii. Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (or Accident and Emergency Certificate etc. (for males) plus one (1) year post qualification experience.

8.2  Public Health (Diploma) 2 Year
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Health Education.

9.1  Orthopaedic Cast Technician
Entry Requirement:

1. Five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO which must include English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
